FAQ
-
We do three things: track your waste service contract so you never miss your cancellation window, get you up to 3 competing quotes from haulers in your area when you’re ready to switch, and generate your cancellation letter so you can leave cleanly. Contract tracking and cancellation letters are always free. Quotes cost a flat $120 one-time fee or $10/mo
-
No, and that’s intentional. We give you the information and tools to make the decision yourself. We tell you when your cancellation window opens, what other haulers are charging and how to get out of your contract. What you do with that information is entirely up to you.
-
Free quote sites are paid by the haulers which means they work for them, not you. They earn a commission or keep a spread between what the hauler offers and what you see. We charge you directly, so our only job is finding the best available rate for you, not steering you toward whoever pays us most.
-
Brokers get paid by the spread. They get a lower rate from the hauler than they show you and they pocket the difference. You get a discount, but you never know how much you left on the table. We charge you a flat $120 and pass the full quote directly to you. No spread, no hidden cut, no conflict of interest.

ABOUT ARM BENDER
PRICING & PAYMENT
-
Always free. Contract date tracking, cancellation window alerts, and your cancellation letter.
$120 flat fee (or $10/month). Getting up to 3 competing quotes from haulers in your area. This is where we do the work of sourcing real base-rate quotes and where you pay us.
-
They’re the same total cost, $120. The monthly plan just spreads it over 12 months at $10/month if you’d prefer not to pay all at once. Both plans include exactly the same services.
-
You pay when you’re ready to get quotes. If you just want contract tracking and a cancellation letter, you never pay us anything. Payment is only required when you want us to source competing quotes for your service.
-
You tell us your contract end date and how much hauler reques to cancel. It’s usually 30, 60 or 90 days before the end of the contract, but sometimes it gets weird such as a 30 day window that opens 90 days before the end but closes 60 days before the end. We’ll calculate that window and send you an alert when that window opens so you always have time to act before you get auto-renewed.
-
Check your original contract paperwork or call your hauler and ask. It’s your right to know. If you’re having trouble finding it, contact us and we’ll help you figure out where to look.
-
Call your hauler immediately within the same billing month the increase appeared. Most contracts allow haulers to raise rates with notice, and your invoice is that notice. The clock starts the day the invoice is issued, not when you receive it. If you don’t dispute it within that month, you’ve automatically accepted the new rate.
-
No, and anyone who promises that isn’t being straight with you. Rates move with the market. What we guarantee is that you’ll always know the best available rate at the time you switch and they you’ll never miss your window to act on it.
CONTRACTS & CANCELLATION
-
We focus on base rates, the core service charge before surcharges like Environmental Recovery Fees (ERF) and Fuel Recovery Fees (FRF). Those surcharges are percentage-based and similar across all haulers, so the base rate is where the real competition happens and where your savings come from.
-
We currently service the Chicagoland area for quoting but enter your address in the quote form and we’ll confirm whether we have haulers available in your location. Either way, we’ll track your contract for free.
-
The contract is directly between you and the hauler. We’re not involved in billing or ongoing service. We then start tracking your new contract so we can alert you when next year’s cancellation window opens and help you get the new customer rate all over again.
